Recently, I was listening to a self-development lecture by one of the best speakers I know. He posed a fascinating question to the audience: "How much void space do you think exists in the human body?" Instantly, people began guessing, and the room filled with answers. Some thought it might be a small gap between organs or inside the intestines. But no one in that room guessed anywhere near the actual percentage.

The answer was mind-blowing. Nearly 99.9999999% of the human body is considered empty space. (Yes, you read that right! And you can check this for yourself—just try searching “how much void space is in the human body” on Google). When I heard this, I was floored. How could that be? We think of our bodies as these solid, tangible things, but in reality, they’re mostly “empty.”
Here’s where my thoughts go beyond the scientific explanation. Scientists call it “empty space,” but I believe it’s much more than that. To me, that so-called "void" is filled with spirit—God’s energy, the very essence that gives us life. This spirit moves and shapes everything, including the electrons and atoms that form our physical being.

Understanding What Humans Are Truly Made Of
We’re not just flesh and bone. I believe we are 99.99% spirit and only 0.01% physical. And that spirit is connected to the divine, the ultimate source of everything. The reason scientists might call it "empty" is because they don't see what can't be measured with their instruments: the divine energy that's powering everything.
The Power of Spirit Over Body
This realization changed how I look at everything. What are humans truly made of, if not just flesh and bone? I now understand that our physical body is just a vehicle for our spirit. It’s not the driver; it’s the car. And just like any car, we can change it, modify it, and make it work for us. Our spirit—the real "us"—is limitless. The body, while temporary, can be shaped and influenced by our spirit’s power.

When you think of it this way, it’s amazing to realize that there’s nothing impossible when you let your spirit guide you. The same way you can change the color of your car or upgrade its features, you can change your body by tapping into the divine energy that moves through you. That’s why some people can achieve extraordinary feats with their bodies—they’ve learned how to let their spirit take charge.

The Trap Most People Fall Into
But here’s the thing, and it’s unfortunate: in today’s world, 99% of people believe the opposite. They think they’re 99% physical body and maybe 1% spirit, if that. This belief traps them in a limited mindset. Because we are what we believe, this false perception of being purely physical blocks the spirit’s full potential. As a result, people feel tired, sick, and drained because they’re not tapping into their real source of power.

When you believe you’re just a body, you place limitations on yourself. But when you start seeing yourself as primarily spirit—connected to the source of all creation—there’s no limit to what you can do. Healing, growth, and transformation all become possible when you let your spirit take the lead.
Strengthening the Connection Between Body and Spirit
If you want to bridge the gap between spirit and body, I believe one of the most effective ways is by becoming more aware and grateful for what your body does for you. And that’s where my books, Grateful Man and Grateful Lady, come in.

In these books, I take you through a journey of appreciating and understanding the different parts of your body, from the bones to the muscles to the organs that keep you alive every day. When you start acknowledging each part with gratitude, you strengthen the connection between your spirit and your physical body. You stop taking your body for granted and start seeing it as a sacred tool for your spiritual journey.
And when that connection becomes stronger, trust me, nothing is impossible for you.
Quote to Reflect On
I’ll leave you with this quote from Albert Einstein:
"The human spirit must prevail over technology."
For me, this isn’t just about technology; it’s about the physical body itself. Let your spirit prevail over what you think are physical limitations, and watch how your life changes.
